Rollerball pens have the feel of a ballpoint pen but release ink easily onto paper like a fountain pen. The pen's ballpoint rolls smoothly while transferring ink from its reservoir. The rollerball ink is water-based, not thick oil-based like a ballpoint, this makes writing with rollerballs much easier and enjoyable.
